How many times do we need to say “No” Kaiser?
If no progress at National Bargaining, we may need to conduct a strike vote
We came to negotiations today ready to bargain with Kaiser on our pharmacy contract, but Kaiser once again gave us nothing. We want to come to a deal that we can recommend to you, but we’re not willing to accept anything less than we deserve. Kaiser is stuck on their issues and they’re just wasting our time.
We have National Bargaining scheduled for next Monday, September 29 – Wednesday October 1 where we will be able to discuss this local contract. If nothing changes at those sessions, we may need to stand up and show Kaiser we’re fed up by conducting a strike vote.
Now is the time to show our unity. Sign the strike pledge, show your solidarity for the union action in Fontana, and make sure Kaiser sees that UFCW members are standing shoulder to shoulder with our Alliance siblings and won’t back down in the face of their stall tactics.
- Sign the strike pledge HERE to show Kaiser you are ready to do whatever it takes to win the strong contract we deserve.
- DO NOT participate in Kaiser Permanente’s People Pulse survey. This action is a direct response to stalled progress at the bargaining table and Kaiser’s unwillingness to fully recognize the value of healthcare professionals. No Progress, No Pulse
- Attend an upcoming action supporting USW 7600 Kaiser Workers
