For the last four months, we have been fighting hard for a fair contract – from actions, delegations, rallies, petitions, and conversations with our co-workers and customers, we have shown the strength that comes when workers stand together for a better life.
After months of intense bargaining, the company moved significantly, providing the largest monetary increases we’ve ever seen at Rite Aid, and we have finally secured a tentative agreement that we want to share with you. This agreement delivers: wage increases for every member, protections for your health benefits and secures your pension, but nothing is final until all members can review the offer and vote on it.
This tentative agreement would not have been possible without the strength we showed during the bargaining process. We stood up to the company’s unfair labor practices and showed them we were willing to fight for the contract we deserved.
