Negotiations began today (1/28/22) on the next food contracts for Southern California UFCW members at Albertsons, Ralphs, Vons, Stater Bros, and Gelson’s.
UFCW negotiators from Locals 8, 135, 324, 770, 1167, 1428, and 1442 presented a comprehensive wage and benefits proposal that the companies will go through.
We look forward to bargaining – with the full might and backing of our grocery members – a contract that is worthy of the service and sacrifices that they have made during the pandemic.
