Contract Negotiation Update 7/19/19

Negotiations this week centered around wages and scheduling. While we made proposals to increase minimum hour guarantees, protect your schedules, and plan for the future of work, the companies at the table are continuing to put your livelihoods at risk.

The hard work and dedication that you bring to your customers and stores every day deserves to be recognized with a contract that protects your healthcare, wages, and your ability to provide the very best customer service in your stores.

We will be back at the table July 30, 31 and August 1. There is still more work ahead to achieve a contract that reflects your value.

In the meantime, continue talking to your coworkers and communities about the impact that the companies’ unreasonable proposals will have on customer service and the shopping experience. The support we have received so far shows that customers are willing to stand up for good jobs in our communities.
