Congratulations to our members at Spreckels Sugar Company in the Imperial Valley on the ratification of their new contract!
On December 14, 2021, they took their work future into their own hands and voted yes!
Some of the highlights of the new contract include:
- Wage increases of 5%, 5%, and 5.25% over the next three years
- Ratification bonus of $1250
- New 401K plan where the company contributes 3% and matches 50% of worker contributions up to 6%
