Rx Bargaining Update 8/6/26

For the first time since Southern California pharmacists overwhelmingly authorized an Unfair Labor Practice strike, we returned to the bargaining table with Albertsons/Vons and Ralphs on August 6-7 for two long days of intense negotiations.

The overwhelming strike authorization vote has made it clear that pharmacists are united and ready to take action if necessary. That unity is being felt at the bargaining table.

The companies have also begun training temporary pharmacists in preparation for a potential labor dispute. If you are asked to train another pharmacist, it is important to know your rights and inform your Union Representative immediately.
