UFCW Local 135 would like to congratulate the workers at Stiiizy in Vista, California on becoming our newest bargaining unit!
Earlier this month, these dedicated cannabis workers overwhelmingly signed enough union cards to gain majority status. Negotiations on a contract between UFCW Locals 5, 135, 324, 770, 1167 and 1428 and the company are currently taking place.
With this addition, UFCW Local 135’s ever growing Cannabis Division now includes March and Ash, MedMen, Eaze, and Stiiizy, with a total of nine worksites in San Diego and Imperial Counties with more on the horizon.
UFCW Local 135’s cannabis organizing efforts are ongoing.
