Rain couldn’t stop you.
On this final day of the Unfair Labor Practice strike, you held the line, rain or shine. Soaked, with picket signs raised and spirits unshaken, you showed Kaiser exactly who you are: united, determined, and not afraid to stand up for what’s right.
Over the past three days, you demonstrated real strength. You stood up to unlawful bargaining delays. You stood up for each other. And you sent a clear message to Kaiser: return to National Bargaining and finish a fair agreement.
The strike officially ends tomorrow, Thursday, February 12 at 5:00 AM.
Do not return to work prior to that time.
You should report to your regularly scheduled shift beginning at or after 5:00 AM on Thursday. If you are scheduled before 5:00 AM, do not report until 5:00 AM. Resume your normal duties and continue providing the professional care your patients rely on.
Returning to work does not mean this fight is over. It means you showed your strength, applied real pressure, and proved you are prepared to escalate again if Kaiser refuses to do the right thing.
The demand remains unchanged: Kaiser Permanente must return to National Bargaining and finalize a fair contract.
Thank you for your courage. Thank you for your unity. Thank you for being willing to fight, for each other, for your patients, and for the respect you deserve as healthcare professionals.
