UFCW members at Eaze/Stachs locations throughout California rejected the company’s “last, best and final” contract proposal by an overwhelming 94%, and, if necessary, authorized their union to call for an unfair labor practice strike. Over ninety percent of the bargaining unit voted, sending a powerful message to the company: We are ready to strike if management doesn’t address our concerns.

Your member-led bargaining committee will inform the company of the overwhelming rejection and ask them to return to the negotiating table.

A statewide town hall meeting hosted by UFCW Locals 5, 135, 324, and 770 will take place April 10 at 6pm to update everyone on the next steps. Please stay tuned as we enter this critical phase of the negotiations. Solidarity wins!
