Anthem Blue Cross has terminated their contract with Scripps Health in San Diego, creating significant disruptions for many of our members who rely on Scripps for medical care.
This situation is deeply frustrating, as it is the result of two giant corporations—Anthem and Scripps—fighting over profits while the real harm falls on hardworking union members and their families.
We want to be clear: this is completely outside the union’s control. Despite our efforts to demand transparency and communication from Anthem, they failed to provide the necessary updates or notice to the union.
