UFCW is calling on customers, on companies, and on our elected officials to do more to keep workers and shoppers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic:
✅ Strongly urge customers to wear masks
✅ Allow all clerks to wear homemade masks until employer-provided masks are available
✅ Provide masks to all employees
✅ Limit the number of customers allowed in stores at once
✅ Have security stationed at the entrance to assist with customer flow
✅ Provide sanitizer, wipes, and time to wash hands and wipe down check stands regularly
