DESCRIPTION:Mental Health America of San Diego County presents a\n1-Day Adult Mental Health First Aid Training \nSaturday\, August 5\, 2023\n8:30am until 5pm \nUFCW Local 135\n2001 Camino Del Rio South\nSan Diego\, CA 92108 \nMental Health First Aid for Adults teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older\, how to offer and provide initial help\, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Topics covered include anxiety\, depression\, psychosis\, and addictions. \nThis in-person 1-day\, 8-hour training is only for members of UFCW Local 135. At the end of the training\, each participant will receive certification that is good for 3 years.
