SUMMARY:Grocery Pharmacy Strike Vote
DESCRIPTION:UFCW returned to the bargaining table on July 13 to fight for a new contract for Albertsons\, Vons\, and Ralphs pharmacists. Though bargaining continues\, progress has been slow\, and action must be taken to push negotiations forward. Our pharmacists have worked valiantly through the pandemic and have earned the right to higher wages and better working conditions. \nA strike vote of all eligible UFCW pharmacists from Albertsons\, Vons\, and Ralphs will take place online\, via text or email\, July 18-20 through Election Buddy. Voting opens at 8am on July 18 and closes July 20 at 4pm with results to be announced shortly after. \nIf you do not receive your pharmacy ballot by 8:30am on July 18\, call Communications Director Brent Beltran at 619.866.8595. He will help remedy the situation.
