DESCRIPTION:It’s been awhile since UFCW Local 135 has been able to organize an event for our stewards and we are excited to finally be able to do!\n\nOn Friday\, September 30\, 2022\, we will host Empowering Stewards\, an invite-only\, one day mini-conference for our dedicated shop stewards. This steward symposium will take place at the Hilton Bayfront on beautiful San Diego Bay.\n\nThe symposium will include presentations\, keynote speakers\, a continental breakfast\, lunch\, a special stewards recognition ceremony\, and an awesome stewards-only swag bag. There will also be breakout sessions including: Empowering Stewards at Your Job Site and on Social Media; Understanding Your Contract and Your Workplace Rights; and Labor 101: Solidarity is Power.\n\nIf you are a Union Steward and would like to attend\, please contact your Union Rep for the pre-registration link.\n\nAs we get closer to the date\, more details will be provided.
