UFCW Local 135, alongside other Southern California UFCW’s, are currently negotiating with Kroger for a new contract at Food4Less. The first two negotiation meetings took place on January 6 and 8, and there will be another on January 21 with other dates soon to be scheduled.
Kroger has been playing hardball in contract talks throughout the country. We expect them to do the same with us. Therefore, our members at Food4Less must become better engaged, more informed, and willing to take all legal options necessary to defend their jobs and future livelihood.
On January 13 we will be holding two Zoom meetings, one at 9am and the other at 5pm, for our members at F4L. Join us for an update on contract talks, give input on what steps members would like to see taken, and receive information on how to get involved.
To receive registration links to the Zoom meetings, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is going to take a lot of hard work, commitment, and solidarity with each other to get a new contract that our members at Food4Less deserve. And all of us must do everything we can to make it happen.
Se proporcionará traducción al español durante la reunión.
